Summer is the time for building a training base, and we all have our own idea of what suits us. Most of us ride road, mountainbikes or gravel bikes in the summer to maintain fitness and a competitive edge, but at least some of us are rollerskiers and runners. We look forward to strength and dryland training as the summer ends, but expect some mountain bike racing, gravel racing and long rides and roller ski’s for summer.

Winter is go time for CNY Nordic. We meet regularly at Osceola Ski and Sport for long and easy endurance skis and the occasional fast paced ski. Other local venues include Highland Forest, Drumlins Golf Course, Sunnycrest golf course and BREIA in Boonville. Our membership has different training goals, so finding a person to train with that has similar goals is a huge advantage to joining CNY Nordic.
